02How It Began
Built Around Two Kinds of Happiness
Wooray was imagined as more than a play centre — it is a premium family lifestyle destination, where the tactile warmth of a nursery meets the quiet polish of a fine hotel lobby. Every material, every colour, every corner was chosen with the same care a boutique hotel gives its lobby, because we believe children deserve beautiful spaces too.
The idea was simple: most play venues ask parents to endure noisy, chaotic rooms while their children have fun. We wanted to build somewhere different — a place where kids lose themselves in soft-play towers, mermaid styling and arcade adventures, while their parents settle into a proper café with an espresso and an unhurried view of the joy unfolding. That single idea — two kinds of happiness, side by side — is still the standard every new Wooray is held to.
At the heart of it all sits Woo, our resident bear and brand ambassador — warm, gentle and endlessly patient, exactly as we hope every visit to Wooray will feel.

06The Founder's Story
A Bear, a Café Table & One Stubborn Idea
Wooray wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from a very familiar frustration — standing in a cramped, echoing play centre, holding a lukewarm cup of tea, watching the clock more than watching our own kid.
We kept asking the same question after every visit: why does a child's joy always come at the cost of a parent's comfort? So we decided to build the answer ourselves — soft-play towers and a mermaid vanity for the kids, and three steps away, an actual café table where a parent could sit, order a proper coffee, and watch it all happen without standing.
The name arrived before the logo did. Watching a toddler shriek down a slide for the twentieth time and sprint straight back to do it again on our very first site visit, "wooray" was just the sound that came out — the whole philosophy in one word, the noise a child makes right before asking to do it all over again.
We didn't set out to build another play centre. We set out to build the one place we couldn't find for our own kids — and then we simply refused to lower the standard as it grew.
Every Wooray since — from Gurugram to Delhi, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Mohali, Patna and Dehradun — has opened against the rule we set on day one: if we wouldn't personally bring our own family through that door, we don't open it. Thousands of birthdays later, that rule hasn't moved.
